Agency: Russia’s car leasing market rises 11% to record in Aug

MOSCOW, Oct 2 (PRIME) -- Russia’s market of car leasing grew by 11.1% on the month to 22,000 deals in August, a record monthly amount for 2020, research agency Autostat said in a report on Friday.

“We would like to remind you that the previous highest car leasing result was registered in March and July of 19,800 deals in each month, while the April result was the lowest at 9,100,” the report read.

Light cars accounted for 60% of all deals, amounting to 13,500 units, while trucks accounted for 22% deals of 4,800. Deals with light commercial vehicles grew by 100 on the month to 3,000 units, and deals with buses soared by 60% to 800 units.
